Sean Giguere
Sean joined the 1•2•1 Fitness staff in June 2006. He has a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Toledo and a M.A. in Exercise Physiology from Kent State University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Certified Powerhouse Pilates Reformer Instructor. Sean has experience working with all populations and specializes in weight loss, rehabilitation and performance enhancement. Sean enjoys working with individuals who have goals and will design a personalized program that will allow them to quickly and safely reach those goals. He wants to earn your trust while providing the support and motivation you need to get into the best shape of your life. When not training at 1•2•1, Sean competes in flag football and basketball leagues.

Chris Kemock
Chris has been a fitness trainer at 1•2•1 Fitness since August 2003. He has B.S. in Biology from Bowling Green State University and a M.A. in Physical Education from The Ohio State University. Chris has been employed in the fitness industry since 1991 and has been a trainer to many types of people including people of all ages and abilities. He has held special fitness certifications from many nationally and internationally recognized organizations including ACSM, NSCA, and ACE. What Chris enjoys about fitness training is the opportunity to teach others and to assist them in reaching their goals. |

David Magner
Dave has more than 25 years experience in the physical fitness industry. He has been a 1•2•1 Fitness trainer since 1992 and holds a B.S. in Physical Education from John Carroll University. Dave enjoys helping those clients who need a little extra assistance including the older population and those in need of injury rehabilitation. He likes to inspire the client not only with exercise, but also with a friendly demeanor to help one forget outside stressors while working out. He specializes in making people feel good about themselves. He knows that the hardest part of fitness for some is consistently showing up. When not at work, Dave enjoys playing music, whether it’s the drums, guitar, bass or harmonica. He also enjoys playing golf and going to garage sales! |

Ben Parks
Ben has been a trainer at 121 Fitness since 2005 and 121 Fitness Lead Fitness Trainer since May, 2008. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is a former champion mixed martial arts cage fighter and has been nationally ranked as a Muay Thai Kickboxer. He currently competes in natural bodybuilding competitions. Through his work at 121, Ben is devoted to helping others lead fit, healthy lifestyles. Ben emphasizes the importance of intense exercise, proper nutrition, and adequate rest in order to reach a broad range of fitness objectives. Whether you are looking to build muscle, lose body fat, improve athletic performance, or just need to simply get moving, Ben can provide you with the right type of workout plan, as well as the support and motivation you need to achieve your desired results.

Melissa Parks
Melissa Parks joined the 1•2•1 Fitness Training Staff in February 2007. She is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) with the World Instructor Training School (WITS). Melissa believes it is important to teach her clients the correct technique and form when it comes to exercise so that they can have fun and feel safe at the same time. She works with clients of all ages and fitness levels and will gear the workout towards their goals and interests. Melissa likes to motivate her clients by giving them intense and diverse workouts and is rewarded when they reach their goals or exceed their expectations of themselves. When Melissa is not working, she is at the gym herself trying hard to reach her goals with her husband, fellow 1•2•1 trainer, Ben Parks. She also enjoys spending time with family, friends and their pets.

Jason Chuhay
Jason joined the 1•2•1 Fitness Training Staff in May 2008. He is a certified personal trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as a Jump Stretch Flex Band Instructor and USA Track and Field Level 1 Coach. Jason is also currently pursuing professional degrees in exercise physiology and physical therapy. Following his participation as a collegiate varsity track and cross country athlete, Jason continues his involvement with running by coaching track and cross country at the high school level, and by conducting several area running clubs, including one at 1•2•1 Fitness. Overall, Jason enjoys working with people of all training levels, and ensures his clients feel confident and well-informed about their program objectives and exercise training techniques. Whether you’re relatively new to exercise, or someone who has been involved for years, Jason looks forward to enhancing your health and fitness level. |

Dan Freshwater
Dan joined the 121 Fitness Team in September, 2008. He is a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Council of Strength and Fitness (NCSF). Dan holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Sports Management/ Business from Fairmont State College. He is currently pursuing a Certificate of Proficiency in Personal Training from Lorain County Community College. Dan brings a vast knowledge of Functional Training, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, Functional Anatomy and Kinesiology, Nutrition, and training with Special Populations (obesity, pregnancy, high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis, etc.). His strength is educating his clients to know their own body and providing exercises that will maintain or increase their personal fitness levels. Dan enjoys the success of others and the drive to be better than yesturday. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you reach your individual fitness goals! |
