Sunless Tanning

Spring Break? Spring events? Just feeling pale and worn down? Our sunless tanning will keep you looking healthy and fit with a natural-looking, safe sun-kissed look!

Our sunless spray tanning is:

~ 100% NATURAL (no chemicals, odors, dye, etc)
~ Looks completely natural - no orange or streaky color
~ Takes only 5-10 minutes
~ Lasts up to 5-7 days (just as long as a regular tan)
~ We can come to you and your friends to get ready for your events! Group discounts available.

FREE Running Club

Saturdays at 10am

121 Fitness offers a free running club - open to all. 121 Fitness membership is NOT required and all fitness levels are welcome.

Interested in running your first 5K, 10K, half marathon or full marathon? Have you run events before but want to improve your performance? Club leader and 121 Trainer, Jason Chuhay, will help you reach your goals!

121 Fitness is currently training for several 2012 - please join our teams!

Club participation is not required to join our teams.

600 meters of climbing, crawling, jumping, swinging, and scaling through obstacles. While the other obstacle course races don't focus on time, this one does!

Join 121 Fitness Trainer Ben Parks, former competitive Muay Thai & mixed martial arts fighter, for this 6-week group training course. Ben will teach techniques from Muay Thai & Western Style Boxing. You will safely learn skills and received individualized attention in this small group setting.

121 Members - returning participants $8.00 / class

Non-Members (includes full access to 121 for 6 weeks) $14.83 / class

Metabolic Testing with the MedGem

How many calories does your body burn each day? The 121 staff now offers you the opportunity to find out your resting metabolic rate (RMR) with the MedGem by HealtheTech, Inc.

What is RMR? Resting Metabolic Rate, or RMR, is the number of calories you burn each day at rest, with little or no activity, to maintain normal bodily functions.

Why do I need to know my RMR?  By knowing how many calories your body burns you can find your daily calorie target to lose, gain or maintain weight safely.

What is the MedGem? The MedGem is a handheld indirect calorimeter.  It safely and accurately measures your level of oxygen consumption and determines your resting metabolic rate (RMR).   

How does the MedGem work?  You simply hold the device and breathe into it for 10-15 minutes while seated and in a relaxed position.  There are protocols that are given to each participant prior to their test to assure accurate results.

There are Two ways to get the MedGem testing done here at 121 Fitness:

  1. Schedule an appointment directly with your Personal Trainer.  $30/test
